Standing on the ramparts of Cadbury Castle Hillfort and looking south, this was really the view that first made me want to start painting landscapes. The sinuous shape of the country lane leading towards Parrock Hill almost invites you to leap, Icarus-like, into the plunging air below, and soar across the fields to the hills on the border with Dorset.
